Give yourself a midweek boost with some top-quality live jazz at the Tram Depot October Speakeasy this Wednesday, featuring not one but TWO local vocalists making welcome returns to the Speakeasy. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 kicks off proceedings at 7.30, followed by 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗢’𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹, with both sets packed full of classic songs you know and love. The evening rounds off with two sessions from sax-led quartets featuring 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 (on soprano sax) followed by 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 (tenor sax), both combining bebop classics with ballads, bossa novas and well-loved swinging standards. The hard-working house rhythm section of 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 (piano), 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 (bass) and 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺 (drums) will make multiple appearances, with their numbers boosted by special guest stars 𝗬𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗸𝗮 (piano), 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 (bass), 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀 (bass) and 𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗹𝗹 (drums).
