Race Start Time: Juniors Race 6.45pm, Seniors Race 7.15pmThe Upton Summer Series is a series of six running races. There is a juniors race for under 14s and a senior’s race for all other ages. Runners of all standards are welcome, but walkers are discouraged due to time constraints and the onset of dusk. The juniors’ course is approximately 1 mile, and the seniors 3.5 miles, utilising paths within Upton Country Park. Points are allocated for each race, determined by position and the best four results will count towards final prizes, which are awarded in one year age categories for juniors and 14-17, 18-39 then five year age groups for seniors. Runners must complete a minimum of four events to be eligible for a prize.
Race dates are every three weeks: Wednesday 6 May, Wednesday 27 May, Wednesday 17 June, Wednesday 8 July, Wednesday 29 July and Wednesday 19 August.
Entries are online only, and one entry covers all six races. The cost is £29/£31 for EA affiliated/non-affiliated senior runners and £14 for juniors.
