Join Amphibian and Reptile Conservation at the water’s edge for a drop-in pond dipping session where the whole family can discover the secret life of ponds together. We will grab a net and explore beneath the surface (all equipment provided)! Working together, we’ll carefully dip into the pond to see what’s living below. From water boatmen and dragonfly nymphs to (with a bit of luck!) a newt, there’s always something exciting to uncover.
We’ll even take a closer look at our finds under the microscope, giving you the chance to see these fascinating species up close and discover the incredible details you might otherwise miss.
