Kupono: "brought together by a hula Halau in VA, began their journey as a group of very close friends who enjoyed performing traditional Hawaiian Mele and hula. Their friendship and bond grew in to an 'ohana amongst the founding members (musicians and their lovely hula maiden), and from this bond the music & hula group, Kupono, was formed. Their vision was to nature their Kupono 'ohana to perpetuate traditional Hawaiian mele and hula. They share their awareness of traditional Hawaiian music, and to grow the Hawaii 'ohana by spreading & demonstrating the ALOHA spirit wherever they go."
