WHAT TO EXPECT (Discussion Based Workshop)
Tired of the shallow, mundane social interactions life has to offer? Ever wish you could go a little bit… deeper? You’ll feel right at home at our Poly Connections: Intimacy Lab! A guided evening of heartfelt dialogue, connection, and emotional exploration with non-monogamous folks all there with the same intention, to have a great time and build community!
But just what is an “Intimacy Lab”? It’s more than a social, a workshop, or a game night. Rather, this is a contained space where we’ll explore the art of intentional conversation through carefully structured rounds that gradually open us up to more intimacy and resonance with one another.
We’ll begin with an Opening Circle, this grounding moment helps us set intentions, release expectations, and prepare to meet others with curiosity and care. The experience will then unfold into three interactive stages, designed to build safety, trust, and connection:
🔍 One-on-One Connections:You’ll start in pairs, engaging with curated conversational prompts that ease you into the evening. These questions are designed to spark curiosity, build rapport, and give everyone a gentle space to arrive. We will rotate guests between rounds so that everyone has a chance to meet and connect with a different person each time. (Approx 10min. per round)
🔬 Small Group Dialogues: Next, we’ll shift into small group conversations. These will offer a chance to hear multiple perspectives, explore shared experiences, and witness how others navigate intimacy in polyamorous life.
🔎 Return to Pairs: We’ll close the interactive portion by returning to one-on-one conversations. This time with new questions meant to reflect, integrate, and leave you feeling more seen and connected.
Throughout the evening, your host will offer brief conversational tips and reflection prompts to help deepen the quality of connection and support your comfort in expressing yourself.
Finally, we’ll gather again in a Closing Circle, where we’ll “close the container” and reflect together on what we’re taking away from the night.

PLEASE NOTE: Though the connections formed in this space are limitless and intentional, this event is not specifically geared towards dating or romance. We will not be pairing people up based on gender identity or expression. We invite those planning to attend to come with an open mind for whichever form of wonderful connection the night has in store for you. 🖤
That being said, this is an opt-in space—you choose your level of engagement, honor your boundaries, and connect on your own terms. Whether you come with a partner or solo, whether you speak a little or a lot, there’s room for you here.

Bring: We encourage you to bring snacks to share with the group—think finger foods or treats that are easy to enjoy in a social setting. We’ll have water and tea available to keep you hydrated and grounded throughout the evening. Sharing is optional, but generosity always adds to the community spirit!

This event is a celebration of ethical non-monogamy in all its beautiful forms—a space designed for individuals, couples or more who embrace or are curious about open, polyamorous, or other consensually non-monogamous lifestyles.
We welcome adults (18+) of all genders, orientations, and relationship styles who align with our values. Whether you’re an experienced member of the ENM community or just beginning your journey, this is your space to explore, share, and grow among like-minded souls.
We reserve the right to remove anyone whose actions breach our Community Guidelines, misalign with our values, or jeopardize the integrity of this container. Please honor this privileged space and treat it with the care you would your own home.
