Get the inside scoop on some of Chicago's next big startups. This event will showcase teams participating in the University of Chicago's BUILD and LAUNCH Accelerators.
The Polsky BUILD and LAUNCH Accelerators give student teams the opportunity to work intensively and solely on their businesses and social enterprises in a collaborative and dynamic environment over the summer. The program accepts teams to participate through a competitive selection process, and each team is given funding, in-kind resources, educational content, and mentorship.
The BUILD Accelerator allows students to spend their summer building the key elements of their early ventures, and validating assumptions around their market or customers. The LAUNCH Accelerator allows student ventures at a later stage to spend their summer fundraising for their venture, selling, and gaining/maintaining momentum.
