Polo Taster Sessions | Trinity Term 2026

Come experience one of the most exciting sports Oxford has to offer! Transport to and from Oxford Polo is included in your ticket.

These sessions are intended to introduce you to the sport of polo. You will start to learn to ride a horse for polo in the arena, practice some basic shots with a mallet, and enjoy complementary drinks and snacks while meeting some of our playing members as we head into the exciting grass polo season!

All necessary polo equipment, including helmets, mallets, and horses, will be provided. No riding or polo experience is required, and we welcome riders of all levels. However, we do recommend wearing hard, low-heeled boots (1-3cm) and comfortable denim/leggings/jodhpurs.

Not only will you have a chance to learn the basics of polo, but you'll also have the opportunity to speak to some of our committee members, who will be available to answer any questions you have.

Please note that no refunds will be given for slots cancelled within 72 hours of the session.

Info: Please meet us at St Giles in Oxford from 12:45-13:00 pm for the bus. (A more precise location will be given closer to the time!) The bus departs sharply at 1pm (no late arrivals please!!).
