About this Event
This month’s sustainability event is all about celebrating nature, wellbeing, and the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem.
Residents are invited to take part in a hands-on workshop focused on pollinator-friendly flowering plants, learning how to grow and care for them both indoors and outdoors. Together, we will be planting Lavender and Jasmine, chosen not only for their beauty but also for their calming, soothing fragrance—perfect for bringing a fresh summer atmosphere into your living space.
Alongside the planting session, we will explore the importance of bees and pollination, and why they are essential to sustaining life on our planet. A short, fun educational pop quiz will be included to test your new knowledge, with two gardening-themed prizes up for grabs: a plant mister and a self-watering feeder, ideal for when you’re away.
All seeds, small planters, and soil will be provided as part of the allocated budget.
