About this Event
Join us at middle ground growers with guest speakers on the practice, politics and sustainability of seed saving. The day will include introduction and theory around seed saving and seed sovereignty, followed by various demonstrations and hands on learning about how we can effectively and successfully save good quantities of seed at a local level, for farms, gardens or even bioregional seed banks! We have Randa Toko from the Gaia foundations Seed Saving network visiting the farm to share her expertise around seed sovereignty and practice. A delicious lunch from the land (from the seeds!) is included in the day!
We have sliding scale ticket pricing options available, with supported tickets for low income individuals or new entrant growers. Please get in touch if you have any dietary or other needs for the workshops! We look forward to welcoming you to the farm and taking the regenerative leap together!
