Big MessFrom Denmark, Big Mess are an aural assault of street-punk, power pop and tuff glam. With songs with titles like, “Venus in Bovver Boots”, they deliver super raucous rock ‘n’ roll. Think Cock Sparrer, Blitz, Ramones, Giuda and early Green Day.
Gimic
Gimic play punk rock to pay attention to and invest in. Their version of The Runaways’ “Cherry Bomb” is credible in its own right and a fitting tribute to the original, whilst choking it politely to death. High on energy; Harriet's vocals carry more grit than a council gritting lorry, the bass is busier than bee on a mission and the lead guitar is wild and unhinged. The first of many visits to YL&S, hopefully!
Hektics
The artists formerly known as The Pressure have gone far more punk, with slightly less reggae, but they still do both with grit and passion.
