Scania Sounds invites the public to get a peek into our conference program at Brändan in Folkets Park, Malmö 💜In the panel ”Politics of Sound”, the different ways that sound is expressed in public spaces will be discussed, as well as sound’s potential for conflict, inclusion, and exclusion in the urban arena, especially as it relates to culture and nightlife in Malmö. What forms does it take, which spaces does it occupy, and where and at what times is it a nuisance to others? Who may make sound, who is meant to experience it, and who will cover their ears?
