Kick off Poetry Month the right way! Join us for a night of revisions & practice for poets. Great for anyone who writes poems!
Doors open at 6pm and will close at 6:30pm. We'll start with an intimate, supportive open mic. Everyone will share their poem(s) with the room. Then we'll break into smaller groups to get written feedback and suggestions. Please bring 3 copies of your poem(s) (max 2 pages of work). Don't let this be a barrier - we can print for you if needed! If we have extra time, stick around to revise your work and chat with other poets.
Please note: this is NOT a typical open mic opportunity. This workshop is for poets looking to get feedback on their written work and to gain practice performing their poems.
This is a free, monthly gathering. All levels and styles are welcome!
