Join Dirty Protest Theatre and the Penley Polish Heritage Project for a community conversation celebrating the unique wartime history of Penley and its lasting cultural legacy.
This relaxed event, based in one of the original Polish hospital wards, the Polish Heritage Project brings together conversation, shared stories and creative reflection, offering space to explore how this history shapes Penley today and how it can inspire the culture of the future.
Through the Community Conversations, we’ll be asking:
What does the Spirit of Penley and Wrexham mean to you?
Why is it important to remember and share this history?
How can heritage and lived experience shape a future year of culture for Wrecsam2029?

Workshops, drop-ins and sessions are all free to attend, and age guidance or other access information is published for each individual session, as appropriate. Sessions can be attended as walk-up sessions, with no pre-booking required.
