Policy Makers is a multi-round academic competition designed to identify and nurture young minds with strong analytical, communication, and policy-making skills in the fields of Sociology and Economics.The competition will be conducted in three progressive rounds.
In Round 1 (Report Submission), participants will be provided with a topic related to Sociology or Economics. They will be required to submit a research-based report of up to 650 words, using relevant data and multiple credible sources. Based on evaluation, the best reports will qualify for the next round.
In Round 2 (Presentation & Q&A), shortlisted participants will receive two new topics closely related to their Round 1 topic. Each participant will deliver a 90-second on-camera presentation, followed by a 3-minute question-and-answer session with the judges. Performance in this round will determine selection for the Grand Finale.
The Grand Finale (Round 3) will challenge finalists to formulate a policy addressing a given problem or motion. Participants will be assessed on the feasibility, clarity, innovation, and impact of their proposed policies.
At the end of the competition, the Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up will be awarded prizes and prize money.
