Last year over 250 guests participated in our Science Celebration! Young scientists enjoyed hourly science demonstrations and hands-on experiment stations. This year Jason Lindsey, Mr. Science with Hooked on Science, will perform 20-minute interactive and entertaining Pokemon science shows throughout the day. Guests should plan to touch a Pikachu lightning bolt, launch Charizard's fiery rocket, compete in a Pokemon egg race, and launch castle's ghost from an air cannon. Jason Lindsey is a highly respected professional in STEM education, science journalism, and meteorology. He is an award-winning author, his second book, "Big Science Experiments for Little Kids," is a best-seller on Amazon. Jason has appeared on the NBC Today Show, Sherri, Fox & Friends, RFD-TV, WeatherNation, and numerous television stations across the United States. He is committed to igniting an interest in science!
About KidsFest
KidsFest is a vibrant, multi-day festival that brings together local businesses, organizations, and community members to celebrate children with a variety of family-friendly events. From June 8-14, this week-long celebration will not only showcase existing community treasures but also create opportunities for new gems to emerge. KidsFest offers returning favorites such as the teddy bear clinic, MessFest, food tasting, and cardboard boat race. Additionally, 2026 will introduce many exciting new programs! KidsFest serves as a fundraiser for the Huntington Children’s Museum.
