Thank you for your interest in the Pokémon Meet-up at Naka-Kon! I'm so excited to have you all join me, especially to celebrate Pokémon's 30th anniversary! Whether it was the TCG, the animated series, Pokemon Go or any of the console/handheld games that made you fall in love, I hope that you'll drop by and spend time with other fans of this franchise.Date: Saturday March 14th
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 or so (will depend on CMV filming)
Location: Courtyard (Sheraton side or where ever we can fit in)
Alternate location for inclement/cold weather: Convention Center Lounge
The meetup will be divided into a few aspects:
Individual Photos
Small Group/Themed Photos: Categorized by Pokemon Type, (if we have enough) Team Rocket/Villains, Gym Leaders, Trainers, etc, or pair up with your favorite partner Pokémon/con friend!
We will also have one large group photo of everyone at the end.
CMV Filming!
This is something special to me. To my appreciation of the fandom, I'd love to have you participate in filming a cosplay music video. We will be lip synching the Pokémon Theme song, from the animated series (one minute version found here: ). I have the song lyrics divided up line by line as well as some of the funky guitar riffs between the lyrics, and to make this work I'd need at least twenty to thirty people to help.
I hope you'll join me! Please RSVP here that you're attending, or be sure to let me know via IG DM's/Naka Discord. (I need to know how many to expect so I can get you a ribbon, exclusive for meetup folks!)

If it's not inconvenient for you, I would especially love to have representation from: Team Rocket/Skull/Aqua/Magma/Flare/Star etc and any applicable Grunts, Brock, Misty, Eeveelutions, Helpers (Joy & Jenny) Gym Leaders, Ash Ketchum, a squirtle squad and a few people in Kigus if you have them. Dupes of characters are absolutely welcome, the more the merrier!
To those who are assisting with/participating in the cosplay contest or have time conflicts, if you're willing I can get a few quick one or two snippets later in the evening for you!
Updates will be shared in the discussion post here, the Official Naka Facebook Group (as necessary) and then cross posted to my IG Stories (I will create a highlight for this) and the Naka Discord Meetup Thread.
