The Poison Peach Film Festival showcases local independent filmmakers. Saturday night's triple header opens at 7 pm with Perchance to Dream, a story of murder and deception in the Jim Crow South, written by Joanne Greene and directed by Christopher Forbes, featuring Shanita Wilburn, Andrew "Gremlin" Wade, Luke Romagnoli, Lauren Mansfield Romagnoli, Sherman Gills, Bob Young, and Joanne Greene. At 8 pm will be the premiere of the latest fanfiction from Cornteen Studios, Dreamhouse: Nightmare on Elm Street, bringing a unique twist to the Freddyverse, featuring Robert Seawell, Jezibell Anat, John Stafford, Raeanna Gramlick, Josey Delaney, Jacob Piper,Justin Lee Hancock, Robert Newman, and Dan Beck.
At 9 pm is Christopher Forbes' vampire musical Miss Strangelove, featuring scream queen Linnea Quigley, with Dana Chesire, Gary Dennis, Clay Lee, Stephen Gilliam, Jezibell Anat, Nohelia Arevalo, and ShoShannah Estell in a story that travels across time and continents.
