Points of Light is a spring celebration of unity in diversity that showcases Lowell's food, music, dance, drinks, and art. The centerpiece of the night is a special ceremony in which participants personalize water lanterns that will be released onto the Western Canal, creating hundreds of floating points of light.The celebration is organized by local community members that want to bring neighbors and visitors together to experience our diverse cultures.
Come early with the family or late for a night out - full of great food, drinks, music, and community!
* The event is free and open to all!
* Parking available at 311 Adams Street.
* Community and professional performances from 5-8 pm
* Lanterns available for decoration until 8 pm.
* The lantern launch is at 8 pm
* Live professional music after the launch!
* Drinks and street food for sale all night
* Some food vendors raising funds for local causes may accept cash only--come prepared!
