Join the City of North Port for a festive celebration of the holiday season at the annual Poinsettia Parade & Festival. This year’s theme, “Once Upon a North Port Holiday,” invites the community to step into a storybook celebration filled with holiday magic.This free event will be held on Dec. 6, beginning with the Festival from 3–7 p.m. at City Center Front Green (4970 City Hall Blvd.). At 5 p.m., the traditional North Port Parade, presented by Quality TV, will set off down Sumter Boulevard., traveling south and ending back at the City Center Front Green, where the Poinsettia Festival continues with merriment and holiday cheer.
Poinsettia Festival, presented by Resurrection Pools, starting at 3 p.m., includes a craft workshop, food vendors, merchandise vendors, live entertainment and community groups, an opportunity to meet Santa, and a Kids Zone. A free shuttle service will be available with additional parking at the Morgan Family Community Center.
