About this Event
Join Holy Cross Neighborhood Association and Pogue's Run Waterway Committee for a community clean-up and kite-flying day at Highland Park on Saturday, April 8.
Start your morning off at 9 AM and join neighbors for two hours as we clean and beautify Highland Park. Trash bags, gloves, and cleaning equipment will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own gloves.
After a couple hours of hard work, join us at 11 AM for a kite-flying day. Bring your own kite or watch the fun! The first 30 participants will receive a free kite. The Pogue's Run Committee will be present to share information about our upcoming meetings, the Pogue's Run Trail, and future Committee events to come!
Please consider wearing sturdy, outdoor working shoes. Masks and social distancing are encouraged where appropriate.
