Poets In Play All DayCelebrate National Poetry Month - Poetry, Potluck, and Camaraderie!
Saturday, April 18, 10am - 5pm
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) and FootHills Publishing are thrilled to present Poets In Play All Day, a full day of poetry in celebration of National Poetry Month. Join in at The ARTS Council, 79 W Market St in Corning, NY.
Featuring Adventures in Japan, Casey Winston and Michael Czarnecki will be your hosts throughout the day's program. This event will include poetry readings, a workshop, open readings, food, and conversation. Readers include Bart White, Michael Czarnecki, Casey Winston, and Tom Clausen. Craig Czury will facilitate a Tanka Poem Fusion Workshop and performance. Artist Dawn Robinson will create an Ikebana exhibit and talk about the process.
A potluck lunch is planned, so bring along some light food to share if you are able. (Electrical outlets are available for crockpots.)
