Guidelines for open mic poetry submission

All poetry must be shared privately with the organizers (via pouredpoetry[@]yahoo.com) before it is shared publicly.

We aim to create a space that honours each other, but God above all. That's why we've developed the following guidelines. Poetry shared should be:

1. God honouring. Encouraging to the listener and aligned with Biblical truth.
2. Hope filled. Written/read experiences that are deep, traumatic or life-changing are acceptable and needed. We ask that these are presented in such a way that brings encouragement and life.
3. Clean. No swears or cursing.

Please advise us if you will be using any props or have any questions. Thank you in advance for your respect and understanding.

Info: We'll lead you through 3 writing prompts ranging from 2-8 minutes in length. Bring your pens and notebooks!
