About this Event
Whether you haven't read a poem since high school or you live and breathe verse, come to Book Club Bar for a tour of the underground lab where the most brave, unsuccessful, delusional, and inspired people among us are working with the basic building blocks of language.
Each month, we'll spend Sunday brunch in Book Club's back garden talking about a poetry collection released in the last six months. We'll read the book beforehand (and do us a solid, if you can—get your book from our store) and then gather for an intimate gab session. No other preparation needed; just come curious. Boozy, if that's your thing.
This month's poetry collection: , by Jazra Khaleed
What your ticket includes:
- $8 off any drink at the bar
Grab a brunch cocktail at the bar and tell us what you thought of the book! Our informal discussion will be led by BCB bookseller Daniel Yadin.
Registration is capped, so please register early if you are planning on attending. Please note: gratuity for the bartenders is not included. Please use your tickets at the beginning of the event.
