Experience one of our favorite winter hikes, featuring a trail lined with lush rhododendrons that stay vibrant year-round. Get ready for crisp winter air, serene waterfalls, a peaceful lake, and stunning mountain-top views—a perfect Saturday immersed in nature.
What to Expect:
- Breathtaking scenery along a 5-mile, moderate-rated trail with an elevation of 1,049 feet.
- A guided hike through the picturesque Mount Minsi via the Appalachian Trail.
- Time to relax and enjoy the company of fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
- A post-hike stop at Sycamore Grille in Delaware Water Gap to wrap up the day.
What to Bring:
- Hiking shoes (a must!)
- Warm, weather-appropriate clothing, including gloves, hats, and windproof gear.
- Water and a packed lunch.
- Friends ready for an adventure!
Event Schedule:
- 10:00 AM– Meet at the standard Biergarten
- 10:30 AM– Depart for Mount Minsi
- 12:00 PM– Arrive at the trailhead
- 1:45 PM– Snack break on the trail
- 3:00 PM– Conclude the hike and head to a local pub or grill (TBD)
- 5:30 PM– Depart for NYC
