Come and spend a relaxing night with coffee and poetry readings. Throughout the night locally published poets and professors from the area colleges will be reading their poems including Dr. Robb Fillman, Dr. Brandon Krieg and Dr. Abigail Michelini.The winners of the LML Poetry Contest will be announced and the winners will have the opportunity to read their winning poem. Prizes will be awarded, and light refreshments will be served. The remaining part of the evening will be a Poetry Breakout where aspiring poets and writers may ask the panel of poets questions about their craft including publishing, the writing process, their inspirations, and general advice.
If there is time for an Open Mic, poets from the audience may share their own original poems.
