In honor of Jane Austen’s 250th birthdayLower Macungie Library cordially invites you
to afternoon tea at twelve o’clock on Saturday, October 25th.
Party games including trivia will be played. How well do you know Jane Austen and all things Regency including Bridgerton?
During the Novel Tea, Paul Savidge, devoted Janeite and member of the JASNA Board of Directors will give a talk on The Enduring Fame of Jane Austen.
There will be a short discussion about Austen’s works that have inspired a multitude of adaptations including PBS’s Miss Austen.
Dress Attire: Dress like Lady Catherine de Bourgh is judging. Regency dress is encouraged but not required. (Historic dress, formal dress or business casual is acceptable).
Prizes will be awarded during the games & for best attire. Don’t forget to bring your bonnets & your top hats!
