Fall is just around the corner, and that means poetry open mic night is back in DelRay!Our featured poet will be Rob Senkel, a local resident and
Afghanistan War veteran whose work focuses on resilience,
perseverance, healing, and love.
The theme of the evening will be “Love Letters for a
Troubled World”. It comes from the title of a poem he
wrote honoring a friend’s battle with cancer. He invites
attendees to bring poems that speak to the theme so we all
may share in their inspiration, but poems, songs, or prose
on any topic are welcome.
The event will be posted by your partners in rhyme,
Neal Learner and Wendi Kaplan!!!
