About this Event
You're invited to a gala celebrating the Descendants of the Reparations Program at Virginia Theological Seminary. This evening event will feature dinner, dancing, and a beautiful display of the genealogical research compiled thus far. Formal attire is suggested but not required. The following morning, we will hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the campus memorial dedicated to the labor and legacy of each of your ancestors. (Please use entrance near the old post office on Seminary Rd. and follow the signs to get to the memorial site.)
We hope you will join us for the Gala on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 6:00 pm in Coffield Refectory and then again on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10am for the Memorial Groundbreaking Ceremony.
