About this Event
Poetry on the Palette
Join us for a beautiful and creative experience where words and colors come together in a space designed for connection, expression, and inspiration. Poetry on the Palette invites families to enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where creativity flows freely.
On May 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, we will gather in person at the Columbus Metropolitan Library for an afternoon of painting, poetry, and meaningful moments. Whether you enjoy writing, listening to spoken word, or simply expressing yourself through art, this event offers something for everyone—no experience needed.
Come ready to unwind, connect, and create. You’ll have the opportunity to paint your own canvas, explore poetry, and share in a supportive and uplifting environment. It’s the perfect way to bond, be inspired, and celebrate creativity across generations.
All painting materials and food will be provided.
Cost: $30 per person (non-refundable).
Would you be interested in sharing your voice? Please get in touch with Dawana if you would like to perform or share your poetry during the event.
Bring your family, invite your loved ones, or come as you are—and let the words and colors guide you. 🎨✨
Parking is available in the library garage for a nominal fee.
