Poetry in Your SoulCollage® Deck
Do you like poetry? I love poetry! Collecting it, reading it, hearing it, and writing it. Come join me for this unique creative play IN PERSON 4 hour SoulCollage® Playshop! Bring your SoulCollage® deck along. We will use fixed form poetry formats to get to know our SoulCollage® cards in a new way. No experience writing poetry is needed, really! You can join in if you have as few as 4 cards… or 400! (of course you might want to bring a portion if 400 is the case!) This Playshop is great for those new to SoulCollage® or with many years of experience. Each participant will receive a magical notebook to organize your notes and poems, with room for additional poetry writing after our time together. No worry if you have not written poetry before, I will lead your through the prompts for each fixed form format, no experience necessary for success. There are many Fixed Form poetry formats, one most people are familiar with is Haiku. Journaling and Readings are great ways to harvest the treasure in your SoulCollage® cards and after this Playshop you will have a new tool - Poetry! No SoulCollage® card making will take place in this Playshop, if you don’t have cards and you’d like to participate bring images that you are drawn to, you will use them in place of SoulCollage® cards. (bring 10-12) If you have a SoulCollage® deck, of any size, that is all you need to bring, all other supplies will be provided. This will be a very full 4 hour class, feel free to arrive 10 minutes early to settle in, the fun will begin promptly at 1pm. Class size limited to 8, register today. Come out and play!
Suggested Donation for this 4 hour Playshop: $50- $70 - I use sliding scale/ pay as you can format to help make SoulCollage® accessible to more people. The suggested amount takes into consideration supplies provided, length of class.
Note: I keep my workshops intentionally small, because of the precious quality of connectedness that magically happens. I’d love to have you join in!
