Nobody can discover the world for somebody else, writes Kentucky author Wendell Berry. In this program we will tap into the inspiration the forest offers as we examine the relationship between poetry and place. As we hike through lovely Leonard Springs, participants will have the opportunity to hear excerpts from multiple nature writers, before stopping to write their own. One will have the opportunity to share their writing, or keep it private. Participants will be given a nature notebook and pencil.Ages 18-99
