POETRY IN MOTION 2 month Intensive Butoh Lab- Spring 2026

This 8-week intensive is designed as a deep laboratory of embodied research, transformation, and artistic development.
Participants will work through:
Daily body preparation, breath, grounding, and sensory awakening
Butoh technique, imagery, and states of transformation
Somatic and subconscious exploration
Improvisation, scores, and physical presence
Composition, dramaturgy, and performance research
Each participant receives individual artistic guidance and develops both solo and group material. The process may culminate in selected solo presentations at the end of the intensive, based on the instructor’s artistic guidance.
