For the big ten year anniversary of Girls on Key we are celebrating with a poetry film showcase. Our feature poet is going to be Australian poet Pip Sheehan.
Pip Sheehan is a storykeeper and poetry activist who has published variously, performed widely, and facilitated community engagement in Australia and New Zealand. Each poem is crafted as a gift of story, textured with metaphor and layered for meaning to hold space for our shared humanness. Living for decades regionally beside beaches, near rainforest, or at the bottom of mountains, the poet has accessed the thin places where the curtain between the spirit and material worlds is most easily passed through.
