About this Event
Each year, since 1999, Bainbridge Island has celebrated National Poetry Month by collecting submissions from local poets. A panel of anonymous local poets jury the submissions. Selected entries are posted in the windows of participating downtown shops throughout the month of April, concluding with this public reading at BIMA by all selected poets, along with the publishing of an anthology. Poetry Corners provides an opportunity to showcase local poets' incredible talent and immerse our community in the power of poetry.
