We have two amazing poets this month - Sharon Black, all the way from Glasgow via France, and our very own Jo Gilbert
Sharon Black is a multi-award-winning poet from Glasgow who lives in a remote valley of the Cévennes mountains in France. She has published 4 full collections of poetry and will be reading from her forthcoming collection, ‘Things That Fruit in Darkness’, published by Vagabond Voices.
Jo Gilbert is a spoken word artist, writer and slam winner from Aberdeen, who writes in their native tongue of Doric and English. Their first collection, 'WTF is Normal Anyway?' was was nominated for a Scots Language award in 2023. Jo's new collection, 'The Department of Stuff and Things', is out now from Seahorse Publications.
