Southlands Arts Centre is proud to announce our special International Womenโs Day event, on Saturday 8 March 2025.We are pleased to welcome Nikita Thakrar, multi-award winning author of Meditation
through Poetry.
Nikita will hosting an interactive workshop, incorporating recitals from her published
book and thought-provoking journaling prompts. Her poetry is designed to nurture
the soul, encouraging mindfulness and inner peace.
We are pleased to celebrate International Womenโs Day with Nikita, a British-Indian
author with a diverse background in dance, yoga, meditation and energy healing.
She has a calm presence, and we are delighted she will be joining us for this
stimulating afternoon.
Copies of the poetry book will be on sale, along with refreshments and an
opportunity to connect with likeminded people. This event is likely to sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment.
ยฃ5 per person, includes a glass of bubbly on arrival (non-alcoholic option will be available).
This event is part of the celebrations for International Womenโs Day and so you must be a woman to join us.
