Få et unikt indblik i processen med skabelsen af 'Poetics of Encryption', når udstillingskurator Nadim Samman inviterer på en særlig omvisning i udstillingen, som viser kunstværker af 38 danske og internationale kunstnere, der spænder over analoge og digitale medier med både historiske og nye værker.
Her vil Nadim Samman præsentere og fortælle om arbejdet med den omfattende gruppeudstilling, der undersøger fascinationen og bekymringerne omkring de nye teknologier og kunstig intelligens.
Nadim Samman er ogå forfatteren til publikationen 'Poetics of Encryption. Art and the Technocene'. Udgivelsen undersøger et skjult landskab af veje og vildveje gennem tre kapitler: ‘Black Site’, ‘Black Box’ og ‘Black Hole’ – udtryk der illustrerer, hvordan nye teknologier indfanger brugerne, hvordan de i al hemmelighed opererer, og hvordan de forvrænger vores oplevelse af tid og sted. Disse tre tematikker danner grundlag for Poetics of Encryption, der udspiller sig over mere end 1000 m2 i Kunsthal Charlottenborgs sydfløj.

Omvisningen vil foregå på engelsk og kræver ikke tilmelding på forhånd. Der er gratis entré på Kunsthal Charlottenborg hver onsdag fra kl. 17.00-20.00.

Get a unique insight into the creation process of Poetics of Encryption when exhibition curator Nadim Samman invites you on a special guided tour of the exhibition. The comprehensive group exhibition explores the dark side of tech, bringing together 38 international artists, spanning both analogue and digital media with a mix of historical and new works.
Here, Nadim Samman will present and discuss the work involved in creating Poetics of Encryption, which explores the fascination and concerns surrounding new technologies and artificial intelligence.
Nadim Samman is also the author of the recent book titled Poetics of Encryption. Art and the Technocene. It surveys an imaginative landscape marked by ‘Black Sites’, ‘Black Boxes’, and ‘Black Holes’ — terms that indicate how technical systems capture users, how they work in stealth, and how they distort cultural space-time. These three themes form the basis for Poetics of Encryption that play out across more than 1000 m2 in Kunsthal Charlottenborg’s south wing.
