🇨🇿Podvečírek je série debatních večerů Kunsthalle Praha a magazínu Reportér, které otevírají témata společnosti, politiky a současného světa.
V pondělí 13. dubna bude hostem jeden z nejvýznamnějších a mezinárodně nejuznávanějších umělců současnosti William Kentridge, který vystoupí v dialogu s hlavní kurátorkou Kunsthalle Praha Christelle Havranek. Kentridgovu tvorbu zásadně formovala zkušenost vyrůstání v Jihoafrické republice během apartheidu i dlouhodobý zájem o otázky moci, paměti, historie a společenské odpovědnosti. Jeho díla byla prezentována v nejprestižnějších institucích po celém světě a jeho praxe se pohybuje mezi kresbou, filmem, performancí či operou.
Akce bude probíhat v angličtině.

Podvečírek is a series of debate evenings organised by Kunsthalle Praha and Reportér magazine, opening up discussions on society, politics, and the contemporary world.
On Monday, 13 April, the guest will be one of the most significant and internationally acclaimed artists of our time, William Kentridge, in conversation with Christelle Havranek, Chief Curator of Kunsthalle Praha. Kentridge’s work has been profoundly shaped by his experience of growing up in South Africa during apartheid, as well as by his long-standing engagement with questions of power, memory, history, and social responsibility. His works have been presented in leading institutions worldwide, and his practice spans drawing, film, performance, and opera.
The event will be held in English.
