Podcasting Workshop Part 3: Create, Record, and Refine Your Podcast Episode

Friday, 6th December - 10:00 – 13:00 (Lunch provided)

Bring it all together in this final, advanced podcasting session! Working in small collaborative teams, participants will apply everything they’ve learned so far to record a semi-polished podcast episode. This practical workshop will push your creativity and technical skills to new heights—perfect for those ready to elevate their podcast to a professional standard.

What to Expect:

  • Record with Confidence: Use teleprompters, green screen techniques, and professional set design to bring your podcast vision to life.
  • Master the Art of Interviewing: Craft thoughtful, open-ended questions, research effectively, and apply advanced interview skills for real-time discussions.
  • Handle Tech Like a Pro: Dive deeper into sound design, microphone techniques, and effective recording strategies for crisp, high-quality audio.
  • Call-to-Action & Episode Closure: Learn how to wrap up your episode with impact and encourage audience engagement.

Hands-On Learning and Feedback:
By the end of the session, your team will have recorded a full podcast segment that will be professionally edited by STEAMhouse. In-class reviews will follow, giving participants the chance to analyze their performance and discuss ways to further enhance their podcasting style.

This session is not just about technical execution—it’s about storytelling with purpose, building a brand voice, and creating memorable listener experiences.

Wrap up the workshop series with Q&A to address final queries and set your podcast on the path to success.

This event is funded through the Diverse Innovation Accelerator programme and also supports the Barclays Eagles Lab and Forward
