Kirkcaldy Galleries is delighted to announce that we will be livestreaming Pocket Shakespeare with Chris Riddell & Michael Rosen from the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Saturday 23rd August at 1.30pm.Two powerhouses of children’s literature captivate in this magical event that brings William Shakespeare’s work to life. Poet Michael Rosen and illustrator Chris Riddell, both former Children’s Laureates, share Pocket Shakespeare: A Beginner’s Guide to the Best Bits of the Bard, and explore love, heartbreak, magic, superstition, and more (with the help of some special guests). Expect jokes, classic insults, and drawings of epic proportions!
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance! Suitable for ages 9-11, ticket only needs to be booked for the child attending.
