Here is how its going to go that morning:
9:00 Drivers meeting/Sign in for drivers
10:00 Start of event
$10 Dollar entry, drivers will receive wrist band and goody bag! Sign in will be at the track.
Single Truck to run all three events.

No 4ws
Winch Required
We are capping the event at 30 drivers this time, just so we can make the event run smooth and we can learn without anyone having to stand around and wait to play.
We are going to break into three groups and occupy each of the obstacles! This will be done at random.
Each Driver will get a scoring sheet and a driver number for his/hers truck. At each obstacle when its your turn to drive, you will hand your scoring sheet to the judge attending that obstacle. After your run, that judge will hand you back that sheet to carry onto the next obstacle. After you have completed the three runs, you will hand in your score sheet to the sign-in table to be tallied.
We will be using a scoring matrix that they use currently in F1 racing, if there are 30 drivers, first place if you dont time out (go past the time limit):
1st 30pts
2nd 25pts
3rd 20pts
4th 18pts
5th 16pts
6th 14pts
7th 12pts
8th 10pts
9th 8pts
10th 6pts
11th 4pts
12th 2pts
13th 1pts - After 13th all pole positions receive one point
You only receive points from time trials if you finish the event under 5 minutes.
This system will be applied to each event, each run will have a 5 minute time limit.
Cascade Gauntlet: 10 gates, Each completed gate is worth 10 points. You receive these points even if you time out/go over time limit. Forward motion stops when clock stops and you count completed gates without touches. Or complete the course under 5 minutes and get points from time trials and gate completions! This will be on the rocks!
Gate touch: -5 ( Bumping gate marker )
Hand of God: -8 ( Having to touch your rig with your hands)
Reverse: -2 (Backing up)

Bog of Bones: Trench run with log and rock obstacles, 5 min time limit like the other events, time trial scoring, wheel-speed may help in this event, mud may be present......its gonna be muddy.
Only penalties: Hand of god - 8
Bonus gate worth 15 pts Its gonna be tough.

Finally, Winch or Wreck
2 Stages:
Recovery: 15pts
Recover a rolled vehicle from a ravine, get it onto flat ground and into a zone painted on the ground, switch gear to event provided tow equip, just so everyone is on the same level with scale gear.
Tow Em Home 15pts
Get the wrecked rig to the designated area, out of the ORV park so they can be towed home!
At anytime, if the wrecked rig rolls or flips you must recover again onto its wheels to continue. No dragging. As much as we have wanted to.
5 min time limit, Time trials scoring, with 30 points possible from event.
After everyone has completed the courses, we will tally the scores and award prizes!
1st Place is a VS410 portal kit
2nd Place is 175 dollar gift card (RCH)
3rd Place is 125 dollar gift card (RCH)
There will be prizes for 4th and 5th as well they TBD
