Dive into a full day of merfolk culture, creativity, and community at the PNW Mermaid Confluence. This intimate, family-friendly gathering brings together performers, artists, educators, and ocean-loving humans for a relaxed and immersive celebration designed for all ages.
Your ticket includes all-day access (10am–5pm) to a wide variety of activities, including open swim in the indoor pool, the Makers Grotto featuring curated merfolk artists and creators, and the Bubble Room, a cozy space with refreshments, tabletop activities, and a calm environment for rest and decompression. Guests can capture memories at the Shellfie Station, enjoy curated mermaid films throughout the day at Tidal Cinema, attend free panels and presentations, and join the community group photo celebrating the magic of the Confluence.
The event takes place at the beautiful Sherwood Regional YMCA Aquatic Center, located just 30 minutes outside of Portland. The venue features a 25-yard, three-lane indoor pool with zero-depth entry to 7 feet deep, making it accessible and welcoming for seniors, youth, and guests with mobility or sensory considerations. Pool temperature is maintained at a comfortable 84–86°F, and the entire facility, including the pool deck and restrooms, is fully ADA accessible.
