After you’ve learned the ins and outs of your wheel and how to spin a continuous single, the next step is to ply your yarn. Multi-ply yarn is more stable and balanced yarn, as well as longer-wearing.In this class, we will cover how to make a traditional 2-ply yarn, traditional and chain-plyed 3-ply yarns and more. We will also talk about how to best prepare your singles for plying, why you need a lazy kate, how to construct your own lazy kate on the cheap, and what to do if you *gasp* ply your yarn in the wrong direction.
