The Plus Size Market is returning for Spring! Running since 2023, the market brings together plus size vintage and secondhand clothing sellers, small brands and designers, artists, makers, and craftspeople for a busy day of fat joy and celebration, open to all.

How do I get there?
By TTC:
510 Spadina streetcar or bus to Spadina/Nassau. Cecil Community Centre is a 2-5 minute walk from the TTC stop.
By car:
Cecil Community Centre does not have dedicated parking. Paid street parking is available on Spadina Ave. and Cecil St. There is a Green P parking garage located a short walk away at 20 St. Andrew St.
By bike:
Public bike lock stands are located along Spadina Ave.
Accessibility:
Cecil Community Centre is a physically accessible venue, with two wheelchair accessible single-occupancy washrooms. There is a wheelchair-accessible ramp at the main entrance, located to the left of the stairs. We cannot guarantee a scent-free space. Please note: the event may be crowded and/or noisy. Please contact us for any accessibility questions or concerns!
Masks are required from 12-1pm. Masks will be available at the event. Please note that the Cecil Centre is a public space, and visitors will need to briefly pass through a short public hallway for about 15 feet to access the event. Masks are not required in this public space.
What will vendors be selling?
- A selection of clothing for all genders and styles, in sizes XL to 6XL. Available sizes will vary vendor to vendor.
- Handmade accessories
- Prints, stickers, zines, and cards
What should I bring?
- Reusable bag(s): Some vendors may have bags to offer, but many may not.
- Cash: Many vendors will accept credit and/or debit cards, but some may not. Cecil Centre does not have an ATM.
- A form-fitting outfit for trying on clothing: There is sometimes a long wait to try items on. If you can, wear an outfit that will allow you to try on items easily (e.g. leggings and a fitted top) – there will be mirrors available.
Can I be a vendor?
Market vendors were selected from an open call in January. The market is currently full with a waiting list.
