This fantastic collection of sculpted whales came from a stately home in Newburyport. Painted dozens of times since the home was built in 1850 they have a perfect blue-chippy-paint color, texture, and an amazing sense of character. The dimensions of those boards are incredible. Some close to two feet wide! With boards that large Eric was able to craft incredible pieces.
These one-of-a-kind time capsules remind us of our city’s long history.
*A segment will soon be aired on Boston 25 news!
*The Museum of Old Newbury did some research on the home where these boards were salvaged from & will share some insights during the gallery opening!
*FREE admission, FREE snacks, and beer/wine!
