PLR Edmonton Presents: Running, Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders

Our topic this month will focus on both Disordered Eating (D.E) and Eating Disorders (E.D). We will dive deeper and explore this theme in relation to our modern landscape of Weight-loss drugs, rising Anti-fatness and changing language to justify the glorification of thinness.

Intention: To raise awareness and explore disordered behaviours in running culture and beyond. Sharing more on PLR’s Running Practices.

Run: Join PLR Edmonton Leader Shelley for a 4/5km walk and jog, followed with brunch.

Keep in mind... we meet you exactly where you’re at (no need to be a "runner") — just come as you are. And if cost is a barrier— please email: , NO ONE will be turned away.
