Let's celebrate the week of Earth Day with a fun and rewarding adventure. Plogging is picking up litter while social walking. We will start with a level two mile round trip walk to visit the fanciful Jakob Two Trees, made entirely of recycled and repurposed materials. On the way, we will pick up litter along the Rainier Trail.After our plogging walk, we will drive to the nearby Fortunato Chocolates to sample some of the best chocolates on Earth, with the heavy metal-free cacao sourced from sustainable fair market farms in northern Peru.
This is a family friendly event. All cleanup supplies will be provided. Bellevue Green & Clean is a partner affiliate of Seattle Parks Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
