Collaborating with the USPA Canopy Task Force, and the Boise Smoke Jumpers from NIFC, we are putting on a PLF (Parachute Landing Fall) Clinic for instructors, coaches, and coach candidates, the evening before Safety Day.DZONE will provide Pizza and appropriately selected refreshments (yes, beer and sodas!).
The PLF will turn a landing that was going to break bones, into one that you can dust off with a bruise. With today's high performance parachutes, "stabbing out" with a loss of energy leaves a jumper with new ways to use the PLF, different that from a student and long ago days of the round canopy.
