Jeanne Seagle is known for her drawings, illustrations, and paintings as well as for being a teacher and a designer of public art. Her artwork may be seen at St. Jude, Methodist University Hospital, and LeBonheur. Her illustrations have enlivened pages of the Memphis Flyer for many years. She has had shows at the Walter Andserson Museum and the Dixon Gallery. Currently she has a piece in the MCA Retrospective exhibit at the Brooks.
Seagle’s versatility is especially notable given her ability to completely master different forms and styles, from the stunning realism of her drawing to the colorful fluidity of her watercolors.
The show will be on view Monday through Friday during business hours.
