Join us this summer for a relaxing and inspiring day of plein air oil painting in a truly special setting.Set within a stunning private property in a quiet rural hamlet in Medway, this workshop offers over an acre of beautiful garden space at the end of a no-through road. Surrounded by picturesque garden scenes, medieval English architecture, and country lanes with sweeping views of the Kent North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll have endless inspiration right on your doorstep. This is a uniquely private plein air experience — no traffic, no passers-by — making it perfect for anyone who has felt intimidated painting outdoors in public.

Workshop Details:
Two dates available: 7th July & 11th July
Time: 10am – 5pm
Level: Beginner-friendly
Your day will begin with an introduction to plein air oil painting, including:
* Equipment setup
* Palette arrangement
* Composition & blocking in
* Understanding light and tonal values
Our art tutor, Rhiannon will demonstrate painting a scene before you select your own spot around the property to create your own work.
We’ll break for lunch at 1pm, then continue painting in the afternoon with personalised guidance throughout.
The day finishes with a relaxed group debrief over tea, sharing and celebrating everyone’s work.

Weather limitations and cancellations by the organiser: In the event of bad weather, Rhiannon will try to reorganise on a day to suit all attendees. If this is not possible or if the event is cancelled for any other reason, an immediate refund will be provided. Attendees will be informed of any cancellations or changes via the contact details provided at booking.
Customer Cancellation: Cancellations made by attendees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Tickets may be transferable at the organiser’s discretion.
